O'Ring packing is available for the liquid the valve will be subjected to, customer should specify the liquid or preferred type of O'Ring, standard packing is Buna.
Valves are stocked in the standard material 303 stainless steel. The standard material for our angle valve is 304 stainless steel. Also available in, 316/SS, Monel, Hastelloy and other alloys.
Standard material for the stem, bonnet, and handwheel (valve sizes 1/8", 1/4", 3/8") is stainless steel. Handle for the 1/2" valve is cadmium plated or painted cast iron. On special orders, the valve will be made entirely of the alloy material requested by the customer.
The standard seat is Teflon® , alternate seat is Kel-F®, customer should specify preference.
All valves have American Standard Pipe Threads. The 1/8" and 1/4" male pipe threads have seats that accommodate the HMI 1/4" NPT Sampling Hose Connections.
The 319 Series Needle Valves have an outage tube that is supplied. These needle valves are for use on HMI Sample Cylinders or other applications that require an outage tube.
The 320 Series Needle Valves with compression tube fittings are supplied with Let-Lok© compression fitting. Handwheel for the 1/4" valve is 303/SS and has a working pressure of 1500 psi. The 3/8" valve has a working pressure of 2500 psi. and is supplied with a cadmium plated or painted cast iron handle or can also furnished with a 303/SS handwheel. The working pressure of the tube and fitting would depend on the wall thickness and style of tubing used. Standard material is 303 stainless steel. Other alloys available. Call for pricing.
The 323 Series Socket Weld Needle Valves are bored for Schedule 40 pipe per ANSI B16.11. The closure assembly will be shipped unassembled to the valve body and must be assembled after welding the body in place. The 1/4" valve is equipped with a stainless steel hand wheel and has a working pressure of 1500 psi @ 400°F. The 3/8" and 1/2" valves are equipped with a cadmium plated or painted cast iron handles, but can be furnished with a 303/SS handwheel working pressure is 2500 psi @ 400°F. Standard material is 304 stainless steel. On special order can be supplied in 316/SS or many other alloys. Call for pricing.
